In following with Christ’s model of discipleship we bring in anywhere from 8-12 women from rural villages to be equipped and trained in the ways of the Lord. Our heart is to teach them not only the ways of the Lord but also to empower them to be leaders who make a difference. One key way the Lord impacted the world was by not only teaching them the truths of the Scriptures, but also by giving them the opportunity to minister. In order to do this we encourage the girls to have quiet times though out the week. We meet weekly to teach the girls in a group and individually for further discipleship. Presently we have 9 girls who are going to school in Chiang Mai. These girls grow up in a Buddhist culture and by God’s grace have decided to walk away from the so called “normal” to follow Jesus. Many of our past graduates are working for other ministries, have returned to their villages to share the Gospel, or have joined the work force to be a light in a secular place. We have seen the ripple effect of what a couple of changed lives can do through them. We desire our legacy to not only be the girls we touch but those who are touched by them as well and so help fulfill the great commission.
